Chairman & CEO Lorri Koster is among a small group of local industry experts that serve as mentors to agtech startups in the THRIVE Accelerator program. Koster received an honorable mention from 2015 Forbes THRIVE Accelerator Sustainability Award winner California Safe Soil for her invaluable guidance and support throughout the competition.
Mann’s invests in various community programs that support the next generation of business leaders. The company funds a $10,000 scholarship at the College of Business at California State University Monterey Bay, and makes regular donations to Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County, Rancho Cielo Youth Corp and the First Tee of Monterey County. In 2015, Koster received the Ben Heller Award from the Center for Community Advocacy for her commitment to the quality of life of agricultural workers in the Salinas Valley. The award reflects her numerous contributions to programs that support the farmworker community.
